1. Evernote
Parties? Gift Lists? Wish Lists? Events? Collect it all in Evernote.
Use the mobile app to snap photos or save ideas while on the run.
Use the web clipper for when you find gift ideas (or wish list items!) online. Save a screenshot or a bookmark, and there’s the link – ready to access later!
You can organise your ideas by notes, notebooks or tags in Evernote.
I use tags. Some super-handy tags I’d suggest for Christmas planning are ‘Shopping List’ and ‘Gift Ideas’.
See the ultimate Christmas gift you’d like to receive? Save it to your ‘Wish List’ and then share the list with your friends! Your wishes shall be granted 😉
You can also use tags for events – for example, create a ‘NYE Party’ tag, and then save your menu, guest list, and song list with the NYE Party tag!
2. Yummly
Definitely one of the best food & recipe apps out there, Yummly should be the go-to for every party-planner!
Full of great recipes and ideas from around the web, you can also filter search results, for example “gluten free” or “vegetarian”.
You can also add your favorite recipes from around the web by using the Yummly Web Clipper.
Recipes can then be added to lists in your ‘My Yums’ section. Create lists for food types or events, and you’re on your way to a perfectly planned menu!

3. Musixmatch
After food, gifts and friends, music is definitely the next key aspect to consider when planning your special events!
No matter the song choice, use a clever app like Musixmatch to find and display lyrics (in real time) on your screen!
