In most bushfire-prone areas, outbuildings must be located at least 5m from any dwelling, including your house and neighbouring houses.
If you need to place your building within 5m of a dwelling, we can upgrade materials and processes to meet the requirements based on your BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) rating. We offer designs up to BAL-40.
