This cosy Cedarspan allows Lincoln and Yasmin to spend more time at their holiday property, enjoying the sprawling view from the comfort of their new barn.

Previously they were having to camp in their tents when visiting their holiday block, bearing the brunt of the weather out in the open.

A minimalist design aesthetic

The minimalistic Nordic ‘Black on Black’ design was achieved by pairing the ‘Black’ aluminium windows with “Monument” Colorbond® roofing, and finishing the timber cladding and barn doors with a colour-matched exterior paint.

The Nordic styling continues throughout the interior with soft blonde timber boards on all surfaces. The contrasting black windows and dark accent furniture complete this simple yet sophisticated palate with a relaxing ambience.

More than just a barn 

So how does Lincoln sum it all up? 

“We’re absolutely stoked with the product…we had a very very specific image of what we wanted…what we have now is actually probably better than that image that we had”

Lincoln and Yasmin’s story shows that a Cedarspan is not just a barn. It’s a testament to how a well-designed space can transform lifestyles and become an integral part of time spent together as a family.

Lincoln’s Cedarspan is a 30CHL90 measuring 5.6m x 16.2m with a deck measuring 3.8m x 16.2m. 

It features Board and Batten cladding, an elevated floor, dual loft spaces and an entry awning. to the remaining two. Lincoln further personalised his design with large custom windows and doors which can be concealed by the custom sliding barn doors when not in use. The addition of four sky windows maximise the natural lighting in the open-plan living area, bedrooms and loft space. The aluminium windows were selected in “Black” and Colorbond® roofing in “Monument”.
