We only use premium materials, and tried and tested construction methods to make your cabin as sturdy and durable as a home. Melwood cabins are built to Australian Building Standards and are backed by a 10-year structural warranty.
All cabins are available in premium Western Red Cedar, or Board and Batten (marine-grade plywood with timber battens).

Made to Order
When you purchase a Melwood cabin, you are able to choose the design, size and options before production begins. This means that you can position doors and windows to capture maximum natural light or make the most of garden views.
We make your cabin here in Sydney, and then deliver it to your property ready for installation. Available as DIY kits or with full installation services in Sydney, all panels are pre-assembled and easy to install.
Wide Range of Options Available
When it comes to deciding on your cabin, we have a wide range of designs and sizes available for you to choose from.
Cabin Designs:
Under each design, you’ll see a list of our standard sizes. These are popular sizes we’ve found suit most backyards, however, if you need something different to these, we can alter the standard sizes to suit.
You can also customise each design further by choosing from our wide range of doors, windows, roof colours, and cladding material.
All of our roofing is Colorbond Steel. Gutters & downpipes are included. Click here to see all the available colours.
See in person before you buy
After almost 50 years in the industry, we know how important it is to be able to see and experience a product in person before you buy. That’s why we invite you to come and view our Sydney or Adelaide Displays in person. It’s so helpful to be able to step inside, see the size for yourself, and imagine how much you’ll be able to fit inside your Melwood cedar cabin.
