A gorgeous self-sustainable studio retreat

Building a self-sustainable off-grid haven is a quick and easy process with us.

But recently, an incredible turnkey solution situated in the beautiful Hunter region came onto the market.

“We were really pleased with it…
it came up really nicely.”

An investment in wellbeing and financial stability

In today’s busy world, where the cost of living is on the rise, securing a robust financial future and investing in your wellbeing is more important than ever.

The lucky new owners of this stunning Melwood eSpace, a beautiful self-sustainable retreat in the heart of NSW bushland, have done just that.

The ultimate in off-grid living, they now not only have a beautiful escape to nature but also a sustainable investment for the future.

Off-grid bliss

Nestled in a secluded location on the edge of the Yengo National Park, this is as ‘at one with nature’ as it gets!

Here, luxurious living combines with total off-grid sustainability and is set amongst stunning natural surroundings that couldn’t be more beautiful. It’s the perfect place to relax after a day of bushwalking or to unwind with a good book and a glass of Hunter Valley wine.

The very definition of indoor-outdoor living, the location is so private the bathroom is completely alfresco! Here, the new owners will enjoy sweeping views across the valley below from the luxurious cedar hot tub, while having a shower, or brushing their teeth! At sunset, we can picture them soaking up the serenity next to the fire pit and watching the local wildlife in the surrounding native gardens.

A look that is fitting

With surroundings like these, an attractive finish was essential…and successfully achieved. Eco-hardwood cladding has been applied to all four facades and painted in dark tones to match the doors, windows and roofing.

Black accents continue the theme into the studio, contrasting with a vibrant splash of colour. Panoramic windows across the front ensure those incredible views are captured inside as well as out.

A self-sustainable retreat at its best

The studio is a testament to self-sustainability with an off-grid solar system, wind turbine, and rainwater tanks. The hot tub features a wood-fired rocket heater and keeping warm both indoors and in nature is covered with a wood-burning stove and fire pit. No expensive electricity bills in sight!

Perhaps YOU can now bring this idea to life?

A pavilion home vision

Emma and Keith were the visionaries behind this idyllic retreat but recently decided to downsize their land.

However, they shared their idea to add more buildings to create a larger home, should they have kept it.  “The plan was, if we weren’t going to sell, we were going to actually put two more of the same thing on and create like a three pavilion bigger home,” they explain.

Perhaps the new owners will now bring this idea to life?

Remoteness no barrier

A self-sustainable retreat in a remote location offers all the peace and serenity anyone could ever wish for. But usually, a building project in such a location would come with some significant challenges.

Imagine truck access for the multiple deliveries of building materials.

Think of the cost of builders and tradespeople travelling to site every day for weeks on end.

Not to mention the disruption to the environment this would cause. And this is just to name a few.

Opting for a PreCrafted solution removed these obstacles and enabled Keith and Emma to bring this idyllic off-grid dream to life quickly and easily. With the modular parts handcrafted and assembled off-site, the entire build could be delivered on one truck and installed in less than a day.

The opportunity to purchase this property may have passed but perhaps you are feeling inspired. Could it be time to invest in your own wellbeing and financial future?

This Melwood is a custom eSpace measuring 7.2m x 3.8m.

It features Eco Hardwood Cladding to all four facades with large panoramic windows to take in the expansive views. It was further personalised with “Black” aluminium doors and sidelights, and Colorbond® roofing in “Ironstone”.

All measurements are approximate.
